On the Second Day of Websites: Woman Owned Chicago Law Firm
December 26th, 2015
Daley & Georges, Ltd. is a majority woman-owned Chicago law firm with roots dating back to the firm's founding, in 1936, by Richard J. Daley. Daley, of course, would become mayor of Chicago almost 20 years later, in 1955, serving until the mid-1970s. The firm's leadership since has included another former mayor, Richard M. Daley, as well as Michael Daley, who practices with Daley & Georges to this day. In 2012, the firm's leadership role passed to well known attorney Mara Georges, former corporation counsel and senior advisor to the City of Chicago.
Daley & Georges offers a sophisticated Chicago-based law practice including corporate law, real estate, government relations, and alcohol beverage law.
The Website
The gleaming gem of Daley & Georges' new website is the firm's gorgeous photography. The attorney group shots and individual profile photos are a cut above what one normally sees on law firm websites.
Overall, the site is simple and understated by design. For such a well-established practice, the central concerns were providing an up-to-date snapshot of the firm's attorneys, practice areas, and history. And, of course, clients old and new can now easily locate Daley & Georges on the web to contact its attorneys, or find an address and Google map for their office.
Rooted for generations in Chicago, the city continues to form the hub of the firm's practice.
